Rachel manages the Free Legal Advice Centre's Public Interest Law Alliance. She previously helped establish Irish Rule of Law International (IRLI), and has also worked with the Irish Human Rights Commission. She qualified as a solicitor with Eversheds and is on the board of the IRLI and EIL Intercultural Learning.

Columb is a barrister practising in the areas of family law, criminal law and human rights law. He has been involved in the NGO sector for many years and has campaigned for equal access to justice for people of limited means. Columb joined the board of Future Voices Ireland as Company Secretary in February 2015.

Grainne is a solicitor and is Head of Legal for the retail division of a leading Irish financial institution. She previously ran her own law firm and has extensive experience in the voluntary sector.



Emer is currently employed as a general practice solicitor in a Dublin City Centre law firm. Emer studied at NUI Galway, Universite de Rennes I and the Law Society of Ireland. She is a keen lover of the French language having spent a year working in Strasbourg. Having volunteered in the charity sector throughout her teenage years, she learned of the benefits of the work of community-led groups through her experience in volunteering with Enable Ireland and in the Brothers of Charity Youth Services, Galway. She currently volunteers with the Free Legal Advice Centre (FLAC) and has provided tuition to secondary school children in the Stoneybatter area of Dublin with An Siol Development Project. Emer is an advocate for human rights law for those with limited access to justice based on their lack of financial means and has represented clients on a pro bono basis throughout her time in practice; most recently appearing before the Grand Chamber of the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg.
