NATIONAL SCHOOLS PROGRAMME
The Future Voices Ireland National Schools Programme partners with DEIS schools from around the country. The programme involves focused sessions working with transition year students spread over a 6 month period in each of the schools and will focus on 6 core pillars, leading to the students undertaking a "Community Challenge" through which they will engage in a project that will make positive changes in their communities. The 6 sessions will focus on:

Increased confidence and self-esteem among participants
Development of leadership and team-working skills
Greater aspirations and ambition among participants
Learning of tools required to achieve goals
Development of project management skills, and other skills that enhance employability
Better knowledge among participants of alternative routes to achieve education and career goals
Building a sense of achievement among participants through making positive changes in their communities
Fostering participation of young people in decision-making in their communities and beyond.
